When it comes to the design and manufacturing of hydraulic tools, Hi-Force is certainly leading the way in the industry. Since their inception in the 1980’s, they’ve been pressing forward in both their production capabilities and their global presence - with offices and facilities located in the UAE, Italy, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Holland and more. Despite their impressive reach, Hi-Force still highly values customer service and treats each and every requirement with individual focus.
“Service is very much in our DNA,” says Kevin Brown, Managing Director of Hi-Force. Mr. Brown goes on to explain how their dedication to excellence stems from the core, family-run nature of the company. Working with his three children, as well as a close contingent of staff, Mr. Brown describes the value they place in each of their 250 employees nationwide - the top 20 of whom have been with Hi-Force for a collective 500 years.
“I like to describe us as family-corporate,” states Mr. Brown, “we have the heart of a family-run business, and the structure and expertise of a corporate entity; we combine the best of both.”
Hi-Force works with a myriad of customers in a range of industries, including oil and gas, mining, ship building, power generation, construction, and any other area which involves heavy-lifting and the safe assembly of components used for the processing and movement of hydrocarbons.
In such industries, safety is a paramount concern - and not one Hi-Force takes lightly. The company is proudly approved by the ECITB, and invests a lot into the regular training of their clients, distributors and employees. In fact, every Hi-Force location is equipped with a training facility to accommodate this.
In 2017 Hi-Force celebrated their 25-year milestone in the Middle East, and has recently invested another million euros into their facilities in Italy. Mr. Brown explains how resources are always allocated wisely to ensure maximum efficiency and return - and this philosophy extends to the people who make up the company. As well as giving employees the freedom to improve and maximise their potential, Hi-Force has two apprentices currently in training.
You’ll have the opportunity to connect with Hi-Force, including Mr. Brown himself, at the upcoming Made in the Midlands exhibition. They’ll be bringing some of their latest products, as well as information on their expert consultation services, through which they can advise customers on the improvements they can make in terms of safety and efficiency in the use of hydraulic tools.Back
